About the role:
The Audit Senior or Audit Manager will report directly to the Audit Partner in charge and thrive personally and professionally under their leadership. Throughout the year, you will work on a full range of services, including financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations, and consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire for challenge and career advancement as partnership is just a couple years away for the right candidate. This position offers the flexibility to be in-office or hybrid.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit engagements from planning to completion
  • Coordinate fieldwork logistics of engagement with client
  • Review workpapers prepared by associates and provide feedback
  • Communicate regularly with clients to answer questions, obtain information, and discuss audit issues
  • Perform detailed testing of financial statement balances and transactions
  • Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures
  • Track budgets to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within client deadlines
  • Identify and communicate audit findings to management
  • Stay current on industry trends and changes in regulations
  • Perform research and documentation of technical issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or intention to complete the Exam soon
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office application
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
