Our Client, a leading locally-owned CPA firm in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join their team.
About the role:
As trusted advisors and dedicated partners, our highly motivated tax senior managers/directors work with other team members to provide closely held companies with tax and accounting services (including planning, consulting, research, and compliance) that meet their present needs and help them secure a prosperous future. Tax senior managers/directors have full client responsibility and play an integral role in developing our tax staff into future firm leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehension of client’s business including analysis and planning of client engagements
- Review of associate’s tax returns and work papers to ensure compliance with professional and organizational standards, as well as regulations and codes
- Management multiple engagements and deliver high quality products timely and efficiently
- Become an integral part of the tax department by active involvement in training and thought leadership
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight plus years of tax experience
- Minimum of six plus years of experience supporting business tax clients
- Minimum of four plus years of experience supervising experience
- Subject matter expert in corporate and partnership taxation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- CPA designation
- Ability to build strong business relationships and an interest in business development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
